Churchill, the most popular dog in Britain, noted for his 'OOOH YESSSS!' catchphrase is locked in a bitter contractual dispute with his employers.
Insiders say that Churchill has had his head turned by offers from rival insurance companies in Spain and Italy and that it has been a lifelong ambition of the superstar pooch's to go and say 'OOOH YESSSS!' in Madrid, or Turin, or failing that perhaps Barcelona.
Luis Pancetta, President of Real Insurance Madrid has made no secret of his desire to sign up the canine superstar. He said:
'Churchill is the best in the world at saying OOOH YESSSS and we're prepared to break the bank to bring him here to Madrid. Our information suggests that he wants a move but that his employers treat him like a slave, binding him to his existing contract. All Churchill has to do is call us and we'll come running to secure his amazing OOOH YESSSS services.'
Churchills employer told reporters that he intends to speak with the pup within the next couple of days, and that as far as he was concerned, Churchill was going nowhere as he was under contract.
