LESS PROVOCATIVE THAN WARREN REDLICH

New York, US and A - Authorities in the U.K. recently pulled the plug on amateur satirist Warren Redlich after a particularly nasty episode in which the boundary between Life and Art began to blur.

The trans-Atlantic controversy stemmed from Redlich's earlier work, which has been described by Kathy L'awler of Troy, New York as 'juvenile' and 'nothing at all like Andy Borowitz'.

In a transcribed phone interview from her upstate bomb shelter, Ms. L'awler had this to say:

"I know this may sound too good to be true, but it really happened... My boyfriend and I were recently home alone one evening when he got the bright idea to check out a website called: www.thespoof.com.

"This grabbed hold of my attention immediately as he normally only surfs the internet in search of pornography involving barnyard animals. (I, on the other hand, normally 'Google' people whom I dislike in order to dig up dirt on them.) Little did I know that my boyfriend had also invited a friend of ours, Sallie Mae, over to the house as well.

"Within minutes of the three of us gathering 'round the computer I suddenly realized that we were all naked. Moments later my boyfriend had his Freddie Mac buried deep within my Fannie Mae and we all spent the rest of the night collectively cuddling and smoking menthol cigarettes. Needless to say, we now consider ourselves regular TheSpoof.com readers!"

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
