Police in Colchester have launched an elbow amnesty, after a number of incidents were said to involve the body part.
Sergeant Chigley Trumpton told us: 'The level of elbow crime in this part of the world has shot right up in recent times, with many more incidents being reported. We have had reports of shoppers being elbowed out of the way to take the best bargains, reports of elbows in faces, reports of elbow being used by people to bend arms, and we all know of the trouble that is caused by bent arms'.
People have between now and the 12th of Never to hand in their elbows, no questions asked. We strongly advise against it. Elbows are important things to keep a hold of.
