Failed Bulimic Jon Prescott has been singled out by Gordon Brown as one of the main causes of food wastage in the UK.
'The average family throws out around £420 worth of food a year' said Mr Brown ' John Prescott would vomit that much up in a lunchtime. Now it is time to say enough is enough.'
Gordon Brown took the unusual step of singling out one of his own MP's as he wanted the public to know he was not asking them to do something he was not prepared to do himself.
The annual food and drink bill of the houses of parliament is around £2 million p.p. (post prescott)
