London - (Jaw-dropping Mess:) A massive £1+ billion safety deposit box scam linked to the Labour Party's Cash for Honors villain Lord 'Cashpoint' Levy has brought a smile back to the face of embattled Met Assistant Commissioner John Yates.
Yates, 45, famously investigated Hellfire Club mobsters like ex-Diana butler Paul Burrell whose prosecution was halted at the eleventh hour after the Puppet Monarch threatened to grass up House of Lords gangsters funding the Labour Party.
Burrell had been charged with theft, forgery, embezzlement, perversion of the course of justice, witness tampering before Palace intervention saw all charges dropped.
Undeterred by the setback Yates went on to probe the Labour Party's Cash for Honors scam that saw Michael Levy arrested and Tony Blair's alibi Ruth Turner raided in a 6am dawn bust.
Despite the mountain of evidence against Levy, Blair and their hired Opus Dei bandits Yates' evidence was ruled unlawful by Crown Prosecution top brass protecting the alleged perpetrators.
"All that could change any minute of course," a New Scotland Yard source said today as details of the London safety deposit box scam came to light.
Police say they have found cash, guns, drugs, jewellery, art, decomposed bodies, bomb making equipment, forged ID documents and a wealth of other evidence that now nails ex-UK Prime Monster Blair and his racket partner Michael Levy.
Cherie Blair is foaming at the mouth with rage.
