Prince Philip is at the centre of another controversy, this time during a tour of the Chelsea Flower Show.
Whilst he was admiring one display, the Prince was approached by its female designer who said:
"I see you like my Asteraceae Ericameria palmeri."
The royal reply was initially confused: "I am sorry young lady, I have no idea what you are talking about."
More slowly and louder, the woman repeated: "I said I see you like my Asteraceae Ericameria palmeri. You seemed to be staring at my golden bush"
The Prince then beamed with sudden comprehension and said: "Young lady I firstly wouldn't dream of staring at your "area", and as you are wearing trousers I have no idea whether its golden or not. However, looking at the black hair on top of your pretty head, golden would mean the old collars and cuffs weren't a match."
The Duke then paused, looked the lady up and down up and said: "You've got a lovely pair of tits though."
He walked away muttering: "I don't know - the young today - obsessed with sex."
