London - (Rotters): Cherie Blair has joined her birth mother Margaret Thatcher in becoming a member of the elite Tory stink-tank the Carlton Club which voted yesterday to end its men-only rule.
Her honorary membership is in recognition of bailing out the notoriously sexist establishment with the 1983 Brinks Matt gold bullion heist.
The club had been facing bankruptcy when Cherie mucked in with her birth father Robert Maxwell to carry out the Heathrow Airport robbery which soon restored Club finances back into the black.
From her Con-Artist Square home today Cherie told reporters that it was only a matter of time before the last bastion of Tory male elitism came crumbling down.
