Santa Claus is said to rubbished these claims and commented "If I can find my way there anyone can!"

Santa though strongly denied stories that he had recently fitted a Sat Nav to his sleigh.

"I have the children to think about here and I am considering taking this a far as the High Court. Lots of people rely on Christmas, please think about all those Santa's, elves, and reindeer that will be out of a job. I could have a strike on my hands."

The local Parish Council is to hold a public meeting with traders and residents after fears the village pantomime may have to be cancelled as well. A spokesperson for the Council said "We're doing Cinderella this year and had a huge response for the ugly sister auditions - some of them were even real"

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
