The Prime Minister, Gordon Brown, may be the first Labour PM in British history to be infected with the cringe-making deadly Tory bluetongue disease, it was revealed yesterday.
There are fears that the PM might have become infected with the nauseating virus having met former Tory PM Margaret Thatcher, who was in quarantine yesterday.
Symptoms are a blue tongue, dribbling, incoherent rambling, and sycophantic noises, especially towards the US.
Sources close to the PM said that tests were also being carried out for the deadly Brownnose virus, a common complaint in Whitehall.
A protection zone was put in place around the Downing Street area immediately.
