The Mayor of Stoke-on-Trent is being investigated by a local government watchdog after it was claimed that he "showed disrespect" to the British National Party.
Mark Meredith, a Labour councillor, has refused to work with the BNP, which, according to senior 'political experts', is a perfectly respectable organisation.
BNP candidate Buster Chops said:
"It's not fair. Meredith proper 'dissed' us. We're just trying to represent the views of our supporters in getting the niggers out of the Potteries. The last time I looked, I thought we were living in a democracy!"
A colleague of Mr Meredith's, who wishes to remain nameless, said:
"The BNP candidate should be stood up against a wall and shot. Stoke doesn't need that kind of representation in the area, as there are relatively few niggers living around here anyway."
The investigation continues.
