Britain's army of traffic wardens were issued with bathroom scales, today, so that they could impose on-the-spot fines to overweight Britons.
The fines are part of Britain's war-loving Prime Minister's attack on fat people.
Tony Blair has often expressed extreme views about his dislike of ‘fatties' and these views were reinforced in an exclusive interview given to our reporters.
‘Fat people are the only group of people in British society that are not protected by legal rights,' the troubled P.M. explained.
‘It seems fitting, therefore that thin people should attack this group of lazy, slothful individuals before they, too, get the protection of the law.'
‘The ‘Fat Tax' will hit these disgusting people where it hurts most.'
‘If the fat gits have no money, they won't be able to buy the revolting peasant food that makes them fat,' he reasoned.
Citizen's rights groups were appalled by the new legislation.
John Wilson, a leading civil rights campaigned expressed his outrage at Tony Blair's attitude.
‘What Blair is really saying is that fat individuals are responsible for all the problems in our sick and sickening society.'
‘Are these Traffic Wardens applying the new scales of British Justice?'
