NEW YORK CITY-Britain, France, Germany and the United States came together yesterday to give Iran a stern talking to over it's flailing nuclear program. The confrontation came to a head when during a U.N. conference in New York City, the representatives from the four countries made an unprecedented move, forcing the Iranian representative to face the corner in ‘time out.'
"This is unbelievable," the Iranian representative muttered as the president of the U.N. forced him to turn his chair into the corner.
The four countries who motioned for Iran and North Korea to be placed in time out defended their positions. "Hopefully," said a British aide, "these countries will now realize the irresponsibility of their actions."
Colin Powell walked over to the North Korean representative as he sulked in the corner. "This hurts me much more than it hurts you," he said. "Are you going to place nice now?"
The North Korean representative stuck out his tongue at Powell, prompting the body president to prolong his stretch in the corner by another ten minutes. "The U.N. will not tolerate such provocative and unnecessary actions," the president later said.
