In a totally unprecedented move today, the BBC had to say sorry ("soz" is the dumbed-down version for younger BBC viewers) to the Queen for messing about with the documentary they were making about her clothes sense.
The BBC, who has never before apologised to anyone for anything at all, actually admitted that they were responsible for making her Maj look a right grumpy bitch.
Apparently, through a bit of sharp editing, the producers made it look like her Maj had a bit of a strop on during a photo shoot, although in fact she was just her usual snotty self.
The fact that she had a face like a smacked arse all the way through had "Nothing to do with it" according to insiders.
The BBC controller, on Breakfast TV this morning, said that he didn't feel that he should resign, as walking away from a top job like that under a cloud might damage his reputation somewhat, and it wasn't his cock-up anyway. He did say, however, that if the Director General told him to resign, then he would. As the DG only sees one 8 o'clock in the day, he wasn't up to see it.
So here's a message to the DG. Tell the prat to go, even if it's just for making such crap programs.
