Scotland ahead of England with the smoking ban demonstrated yesterday their security measures put in place to deal with people lighting up in enclosed spaces.
It is believed that to coincide with England's introduction of the law, radical Islamic extremists plotted to demonstrate their contempt towards British law and Western values by lighting themselves up in Glasgow airport. Quick thinking security along with vigilant members of the public quickly moved in to stamp them out.
An eye witness report said that 'They must have been gasping to light up as they looked very determined to get into the building by bumping their 4X4 SUV against the door."
Security has now been tightened throughout the nation as a precautionary measure in case of any other potential attempts by extremist to light up in public places.
