The famous TV present Noel Edmonds has been locked up in the nuthouse after 'hearing voices' live on his successful TV programme 'Deal or No Deal'.
Mr Edmonds, 83, is said to have hallucinations of a mysterious character who talks to him, called The Banker. The imaginary being supposedly challenges contestants to accept small prizes to create tension in the simple box-picking show. However, it turns out that The Banker exists only in Mr Edmonds' mind.
A friend of the presenter, who refused to give his name, gave the following statement: "Blobby blobby blob blobbbbyyy!"
It is thought that Mr Edmonds has created a number of characters in his disturbed mind. Most of these were imagined during his so-called wilderness years, when he spent many years sitting at home eating pies before the miraculous success of Deal or No Deal.
