Sad news reaching us today that pop star, Robbie Williams, is in a home for the deluded in Beverly Hills Yorkshire, with little or no prospect of coming out again.
Dr Mandy Lifeboats takes up the story:
"For some time now Robbie has believed that he is a top singer. This is of course preposterous as all he ever did in Take That was jiggle about like a monkey.
He is living proof that if somebody is coached for long enough then they can have a stab at being a karaoke turn and with the right PR machine behind them, then they can seem vaguely plausible.
He also believes that he is a likeable cheeky chappie and that the great British public love him. Have you ever seen Paxman on Newsnight when he says...yeessss? Well do the math!"
Gary Barlow, Robbie's erstwhile colleague in Take That, says:
"Robbie and I never really saw eye to eye and I don't think there's any love lost there"
And H from Steps comments:
"I'm doing a new record when I come out of Big Brother and it's better than anything Robbie, Gary and Leo Sayer will be doing"
