After the tearing down of statues in America that have anything to do with the terrible slave era, it is feared that this trend is now tsunami-ing it's way to the UK (as most US trends tend to), and poor old one-eyed, one armed, British national hero, Nelson is being targeted!
A monument to one of Britain's greatest heroes has attracted millions of tourists and pigeons crap for centuries, and now ANTIFA nutters wish to tear him down! He served as a proud symbol to Brits who would never be defeated during two world wars against Germany, Japan and other fascist regimes! Now, typical of history being history, there are idiots out there whose only desire is to turn history on its head (difficult job turning Nelson perched on his pedestal on his head)!
OK, maybe he was around when Britain was involved in the slave trade, so what? So was France, Spain, Italy, Holland, Portugal, and many others.
