A Dartford man from Dartford has made a sensational claim today of having heard people speaking in tongues.
Paul Floury-Baps, from Dartford told us:
"It all happened when I went to Beijing recently. I got off the airplane and took a taxi to downtown Beijing in Beijing and as soon as I got out on the streets I was amazed to hear people speaking in some strange language that I didn't understand. If I'd been asked to describe what it sounded like then I'd say I sounded as if they were speaking in tongues.
"Of course I put it down to the fact that they had all been possessed simultaneously by evil spirits and that the funny noises were the spirits trying to corrupt me and hold me in their evil sway!"
When asked by our reporter what he did then Mr Floury-Baps laughed:
"I didn't hang around at all. I was straight back in the taxi then back in the plane and back home again in Dartford before you could say 'chingchangchoo'. Oh bugger! Looks like the spirits got me after all"
