Young George Osborne

Chancellor George Osborne has shaken David Cameroon by resigning over the input of tax evaders being siphoned to The Tory Party.

'I've had enough' he declared from the steps of 11 Downing Street, 'When a political party is financed by the proceeds of illegal activity a stand must be taken. The Chancellor of the Exchequer is the person who should take a stand on this issue - And I have.

Not since George's uncle John Osborne wrote 'Look Back in Anger' has there been such an impact on the British Nation. Not even the departure of George's cousin, Peter Osborn from the Daily Telegraph, over advertisers controlling the content of the paper was less significant. (Peter dropped the e from his surname to try and avoid confusion with his playwright relative John).

Explaining his stand Osborne mentioned the misdeeds of his youth whilst at Oxford University in the notorious Bullingdon Club, portrayed in the film The Riot Club. 'But now I must confess that my behaviour in office has hurt far more people.'

A shaken Prime Minister has responded by accusing Osborne of breaking the rules of the Bullingdon Club. 'Osborne swore an oath that he would never betray the honour of those who were in the Club. Now he has let us all down. He should be de-bagged and expelled from the Club immediately.'

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
