A "Cat-Pie For Sale" poster has angered the townspeople of Appledore, Kent as it has been positioned directly above a long-standing missing cat poster.
The cat allegedly used to make the pie, describes the exact cat that went missing two weeks ago, including the collar, which has allegedly been used as decoration. The poster also states that the pie could be sold in individual pieces but the seller "would rather sell it as an entire pie to a good home".
72-year-old Mrs Bedford is the owner of the missing cat and said with a straight face, "That pussycat was my life. I loved playing with it. Nothing satisfied me more. I'd stroke it all day long if I had the strength in my wrists still!"
There are still no leads on what has possessed someone to create the new poster, but the annual Appledore bake sale has received an unusual level of interest from an unknown party.
