A Florida man is desperately trying to reunite a cat he found on the busy US1 and SE 17th interchange in Fort Lauderdale with it's owner.
Brian Chong, 37, has told friends, family and gathered reporters that he will not be thwarted in his attempts to reunite cat and owner.
"Its the least I can do, I mean if my cat went missing I would want someone to do the same for me." said kind hearted Brian.
However, despite several attempts to track the owner of the lost cat he has had no luck and has turned to the press for help.
He told me "If anyone has lost a very flat ginger cat, last seen sleeping on the US 1, surrounded by flies and being pecked at by birds then I have it. And I will treat it very well until it is reclaimed."
