Investigators probing the tawdry snaps reckon a disastrous night's losses at Seizures Palace probably led to the heir-brained scheme.
This morning CCTV video footage from the casino was being studied by royal gofers.
It's rumored to show a string of catastrophic punts that cleaned out Harry's line of credit before the 'masterstroke' that flogged some pics.
"Wouldn't be the first time naughty photos have bailed out Young Ginger's crippling overdraft," a Palace lackey explained.
"Nazi uniforms, exotic cheroots and all the other posed shots have done rather nicely, thanks very much."
The comments come amid rumors that a seven minute 'intimate' video has been locked down in a Los Angeles vault with a potential price tag of five million dollars.
