With the news that Car Salesmen and Estate Agents are now more trusted than Banks a new initiative is under way to capitalise on the public mood.
Car Salesman Sam Slammer is setting up in Ashby de la Douche High Street with opening offers of a second hand car for every new customer. 'I have personally looked over all these cars' said Slammer 'and they are in perfect running order. You can trust me!'
Slammer will be getting a bonus for every car that breaks down within a week, generously provided by the Car Repair Outfit Give Us A Brake, handily placed next door to Slammer.
The town Estate Agent, Mould & Crack, is also vying for business. Manager, Phil Mould is offering a new house for all those who sign up with a deposit of £10,000. Building repairer Tom Brick, who is also convenintly next door, is financing Mould with a special bonus for every House disposed of.
These new initiatives are sure to put the spring back into the British economy and will provide more work for the unemployed. Local Tory M.P., Philipus Ponsonby-Ripoff who is also more popular than the local Bankers, has welcomed the change to the High Street. 'We shall have honesty and integrity back at the centre of the Town' he announced.
