A Proper Mess

Outrage swept Parent company of James Murdoch, NEWS Corpse, at the suggestion that James was not fit. 'I have seen him running for cover for months' said a friend Hack Earwig 'he's very quick, even slippery. Of course he's fit!'

But the question remains: 'What is he fit for?' This is the query that is agitating News Corpse, some would say it is the only thing keeping corpse alive.

James Murdoch is insulted with the suggestion he is not proper. How could anyone even consider that such an honest and worthy gentleman might not be 'proper'? Ask anyone at News International whether they think their friend James is a proper person and you get the anonymous reply that he is the biggest ... But then the typo is corrected: the unanimous reply is that he is a hero, worthy of his famous father.

Father Murdoch - not a Catholic priest one should emphasise -is on record as exclaiming: 'This is a fit and proper mess we're in'But we know this is a joke with it's subtle reference to the fine comic actors Laurel & Hardy.

Currently no one is prepared to say which of the Murdochs is Laurel and which is Hardy but one of them has let go of the piano and it is hurtling down the stairs.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
