The X-factor might have to be axed before the end of the current series if ratings don't improve.
That was the message tonight from Anne Widdecombe who is said to have described the show as "a bit dull this year."
Anne was overheard to have said "If I was Prime Minister I would have axed it the minute they failed to pick that Scottish Girl from Fife with the nice granny in the wheelchair."
Simon Cowell is said to be furious with Anne, and one of his friends was recently heard to say that he used to be a huge fan of her dancing but he wasn't any more.
"But she is right about one thing." Simon is said to have said. "They should have picked the Scottish Girl. Apart from Johnny and Kitty, she was the only interesting one in the show this year"
So I think the moral of this story is: They should have picked the Scottish girl.
