Hapless X-Factor girl band 'Little Mix' have been forced into yet another name change after it emerged that 'Little Mix' is also the name of a brand of dog food for miniature dog breeds.
The band are said to be mortified by the discovery and will unveil their third (and hopefully final) name change on the Live show.
The band failed to keep their Original name 'Rhythmix' when it emerged that Rhythmix was also the name of a well-know children's charity that had been existence for over 12 years.
This was despite the intervention of pop svengali Simon Cowell who threatened to "send the boys round" if the charity didn't back down and hand over the name.
Unfortuantely for Cowell the charity dug its heels in and keep the name, forcing the girl group to adopt the name 'Little Mix' as a replacement. However, once Little Mix's canine connections emerged, a third name change was inevitable.
Band member Jade described how they went about choosing the new name.
"We're hoping for third time lucky," explained Jade "we've been through loads of names but we've definitely nailed it this time!"
According to sources, during an extensive brainstorming session with coach Tulisa, the band considered - Pic N' Mix, Betamax, Maxipad, Optimax, Etch-a-Sketch and Bombay Mix - before finally settling on their new name.
The band will now be known as 'Tixylix'.
