UK immigration policy was once again the subject of abject ridicule today when it was revealed that new legislation on tightening the law on immigration featured rules targeting those intending to bring dogs with them into the country.
Under proposed law, anyone with a dog (or offspring resembling Canines) may be held in a queue or asked to wait in a longer line.
Dog owners and animal rights activists around the country have attacked the measures as 'dogma' and 'barking' and 'bullshit' because those who own cats, horses, gerbils and lizards are effectively being shown priority treatment when we all know dog is man's best friend.
Well...we all know David Beckham's best friend is a dog, anyway.
