Beleaguered West Ham United boss Avram Grant has denied that he possesses a masochistic streak that makes him only take on impossible tasks.
Grant, whose club is currently 2nd bottom of the Premiership and has very rarely been out of the bottom three, was also manager of Portsmouth when they went into administration, suffered a 9 point deduction and were relegated at the end of the 2009/10 season.
The amiable Israeli scoffed at the suggestion that he had a death wish when it came to getting jobs:
"I sincerely do not feel that I have ever made a bad decision when it comes to employment. I prefer to think that I am just a bit unlucky".
Grant would not confirm or deny speculation that, if the Hammers do get relegated next month, he'll be taking up a new appointment as Health and Safety Manager at Fukushima nuclear power plant.
