BBC Football pundit Alan Shearer is remaining tight lipped about rumours linking him with ITV sports presenter Gabby Logan.
The former Newcastle United and England centre forward issued a "no comment" when approached by journalists outside the BBC studios in Wood Lane, London.
A source close to the former international did, however, make a few comments :
"Alan is the same off the field as he was on it.
"He was totally focussed on only one thing : scoring.
"His sole aim was to get in the box and hit the target. If he had to go down, then so be it.
"As soon as he'd slipped it in, he'd celebrate by sticking his hand up".
