Oldies but Goldies group Slade are doing all they can to help underdogs Leyton Orient in their FA Cup replay with Arsenal tonight.
Although they hail from the Black Country, the glam rockers have a lot of affection for the East London club as they've always stayed in a guest house near to the Brisbane Road ground when they're gigging in the big smoke.
Slade front man Noddy Holder explained :
"We've always had a soft spot for the O's ever since the 70's when we were spending a lot of time down here. So we thought we'd do our best to give the underdogs a chance when they play at the Emirates.
So we found out where the Gunners were staying last night, set up the gear right outside the hotel and put on a free concert.
We played "Cum On Feel The Noize" 5 times in a row just to really piss Arsene off coz we know he was a T Rex freak and always thought we were a bit too commercial.
As we were packing up, Szczesny and Koscielny came down to give us grief but they banged into each other and, by the time they'd untangled themselves, we'd well and truly skedaddled.
There'll be a few sore heads in the Gunners camp this morning.
