Wayne Rooney's wonder goal in the Manchester derby on Saturday has been voted the Greatest TV Moment in History, according to a survey of narrow minded, parochial U.K. residents.
The overhead kick, which gave the Old Trafford side a late 2-1 victory and cemented their position at the top of the Premiership table, came out top in the poll despite the survey group being given the option of choosing such iconic moments as Barack Obama's success in the 2009 U.S. Presidential Election, the Assassination of John F Kennedy in 1963, the first moon landing in 1969 and Rod Hull's EMU attacking Michael Parkinson in 1976.
The Parky clip came second.
