Much to the relief of one of professional football's most overpaid actors, Wayne Rooney, the £4.5 million commission being sought by his former agency was all a mistake.
Speaking with relief, having taken this week's salary in cash and it being a relief for the short player to put such a heavy bag down to talk with us, it turns out that Mr Rooney owes his former management company only £45.
It would appear that in order to ensure he could collect the full set of McDonalds toys, the management company had to lay out £45 on meals.
The invoice was mislaid until only recently, when, sensing that Mr Rooney is in fact now quite rich, a bottle of correcting fluid spilled out over the "amount paid" and a secretary incorrectly filled in the wrong replacement amount, adding a few extra zeros for "artistic purposes".
Mr Potato Head is a character in Toy Story.
