I Never Doubted West Ham

Hammers Victory Proposals

At the outset I wish to make it clear that misunderstood articles from my 'pen' on Spoof in recent months had nothing but praise for Avram Grant, the management and team at the Hammers.

Those who claim my current views on this wonderful manager were not complimentary have simply got things wrong.

Avram does not wear his heart on his sleeve but he has the heart of a lion. He takes the ignorant criticism against him by those posers from Tottenham Court Road and continues with his great work.

To all those who pretend that I said rude things about our Avram I would remind them that we haven't won the league and compromise is required. I realise I pledged to burn Avram's effigy outside the Boleyn ground but this was a friendly joke - Avram always saw it like that when he sent me a scarecrow to make the job easier.

Now we are in power moving up the league some people are saying we have been seduced by this new experience of power and have forgotten the years in the wilderness. Nothing could be further from the truth, I simply want to support West Ham in the national interest as their plan for the Olympic Stadium is simply the best - or really the only legitimate plan on offer. No one was keene on Tottenham Court Road's destructive suggestions.

I knew we would always win through - a true fan of the claret and blue!

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
