After Thursday night's loss to the New Orleans Saints, Minnesota Vikings quarterback Brett Favre was asked about the loss.
"Did we loss? Doggone it. At least I set another record with that interception. I knew we had a bad second half but we lost? Son of a gun!"
Favre, who is now 40, stated that the game was a lot of fun and that he hopes to get to the Super Bowl again this year.
"You didn't get to go last year, Mr. Favre", a reporter reminded him. "You got intercepted at the end of the NFL Playoff."
"Well, I have a Super Bowl ring at home so I say we won it. I mean, I can't really say."
Favre then went to telling us about his grandchildren but stopped midway and stated that he wasn't sure and they may just be the neighbor's kids that he has to keep running off his lawn.
So, are the Vikings rushing Favre to get back into mid-season shape?
"Oh no", stated one of the Vikings coaches. "Favre tends to sort of crumble against the pass rush."
