A snooker player, has been suspended for allegations of fixing snooker matches.
These allegations stem from reports that the player was seen messing with his balls in an important match recently, which he subsequently lost.
Later he was seen by the same witness, with his manager, Mr. M. Fixer, receiving two hundred and sixty one thousand pounds in the "men's room" after the match.
Only one conclusion can be made. Matches are being 'fixed'.
It's believed that the manager, was in on the deal because he resigned as soon as the news came out.
The manager was in court earlier this month for allegedly checking out the player's balls. He said to the court,
"I was just making sure they weren't loaded."
Snooker chief, Barry Earnsalot was devastated when he heard the news. He said, "We can't afford, nor will I tolerate anybody or anything that adversely affects the integrity of the game. I take this matter terribly seriously, obviously not prejudging, though I do have my suspicions."
He finished the interview by saying, "If found guilty of whatever he is charged with, this top player will be losing his balls for life. You can bet on that."
Both player and manager were unavailable for comment. It's rumoured they've gone into seclusion and are working on 'fixing' the outcome of the trial. In THEIR favour of course.
