At the Winter Olympics in Vancouver in Canada there have been a number of complaints from athletes regarding their accommodation for example athletes from Iceland have complained that their central heating has broken down and they are freezing and because of a power cut their fridges have stopped working so their food has gone off.
We spoke to a Winter Olympics official Bob Slay who has advised us that everything has been done to fix the power to resolve the situation Bob then explained how some of the athletes train for example for the skeleton event they can train in their sleep all they have to do is lie down flat on their back and imagine they are going down the course.
It is believed someone with a Snow Plough crashed into the main electricity generator causing the power cut.
