The nation this week, was stunned and concerned when Tiger 'Geeky' Woods was involved in a face-busting 22mph reversed crash into a metal pole, and then a 19 mph forward bump into neighbours tree. We all feared the worst, and yes - it was confirmed. Tiger Woods needed three Band-Aids.
The world famous 'guy who can hit a ball with a stick for $500m' soon showed us all his gladiator attitude by attending Florida's Annual Golf Buggy Race.
"I have to say that having experienced 'Evel Knievel' type injuries, I though I'd never get back behind the wheel of a sub-30mph vehicle ever again", explained the famous golfer. "But I'm a golfer, and golfer are known for their fearless nature. No 'jogging-paced' crash will destroy me."
There had been concern that with so many trees in the area, he may lose control and strike another tree, perhaps resulting in moderate grazing of the knee or a slighty bruised ankle. But he showed us all why is is considered by many as 'The Black Randy Couture' - he never gives up.
