Tennis star Andy Murray turned up to play in an amateurs match yesterday at Eastbourne. He heard that injury hit North of Scotland were short of players so Andy turned up to make up the numbers.
Despite Andy being there North of Scotland were still beaten 5-4 by Hertfordshire in the county cup match.North of Scotland Captain Ian Conway said "Andy was just one of the guys. He's known us since he was five"
Next week Andy plans to turn up at an under sevens tournament in Glasgow where there allowed one player over seven years of age. He is also thinking about taking up table tennis.
