Ferry, Cross The Irwell...A Fitting Venue.

Manchester United supporters revealed this evening that they would perform their controversial new 'Ferry Cross The Irwell' anthem at the Champions League Final against Barcelona in the Estadio Olimpico in Rome.

Liverpool supporters are up in arms at what they regard as blatant theft of a historical and much loved Scouse treasure, and are said to be fuming that United fans have substituted the river Irwell for the Mersey.

"The Irwell doesn't even have a ferry," a Liverpool supporter complained bitterly this morning. "Dem bastards is well out of order."

"We've really taken to this new anthem," Manchester United fan Mac Hucknell told us. "We'll be giving it its first airing on the biggest stage in the world. And the fact that it pisses the Scousers off even more than they already are, makes it all the sweeter."

More as we get it.
