Sir Alex Ferguson has told journalists at a Press conference earlier today, that although he has enjoyed a wonderful reign in charge of Manchester United, he regrets having a poor record in the Champions League.
United have won the CL just twice under Sir Alex, in contrast, he said, with the superior records of teams such as AC Milan, Real Madrid, Liverpool, Bayern Munich and Ajax.
"We have regrets about that," he moaned.
Ferguson has been in charge at Old Trafford for 22 years now, and says to have won the CL only twice in that time is:
"nothing less than disgraceful."
United go into tomorrow night's second leg with Arsenal at the Emirates, with a 1-0 lead, as well as a 3-point lead at the top of the Premier League with a game in hand.
How pathetic!
