David Moyes is set to become the next Manager of Manchester United after passing the infamous Mind Games test.
A source close to Sir Alex reports that David Moyes was tasked with forcing Mike Riley into a ludicrous decision by simply feeding some lines to the press in the run-up to Sundays FA Cup show down.
Ferguson did not believe this task was achievable and was obviously beside himself when Moyes plan came to fruition. He can be seen laughing and joking with the 4th official when the incident occurred and was overheard to retort "By god he's done it, I think he's done it.... the bugger"
Everton defender Phil Jagielka was quoted as saying that the Gaffer had ordered him to 'kick lumps' out of any United player who dared to enter the box, but only in full view of the referee and only where a genuine goal scoring opportunity would be denied. His reward for successfully executing the 'Moyes plan' was the opportunity to vanquish memories of a previous penalty shoot-out and fire Everton to their first final in 300 years.
Moyes has stated that he has the full support of his chairman and still has 5 years left to run on his contract. Sir Alex was unavailable for comment. Rafael Benitez insists that this lack of comment proves he was right all along.
