The Wembley pitch which has taken so much criticism over the last weekend will be changed the FA has confirmed today.
The pitch, which was designed as part football turf and part adventure playground, has raised a number of eyebrows since it was opened.
A number of issues were seen over the weekend however which have forced the FA to rethink their plans.
"The far left hand corner which we filled with quicksand has been extremely unpopular" confirmed the spokesman. "The Arsenal security team are still trying to find Cesc Fabregas in there".
"Also the rotating centre circle will be removed". This feature of the ground saw a number of complaints as it was felt that the centre of the pitch fully rotating once every 2 minutes was unnecessary and confusing for the centre midfielders.
However it is believed the Penalty area "Marshlands" will remain.
