Michael Owen has been called again by Fabio Capello. Unfortunately it was only to tell him that he should consider retiring from International football.
Owen told a close friend, who thus in turn told me which effectively proved the lack of closeness this "friend" had with Owen, that Capello purely called him saying, "Michael, you should retire from International football, I don't need the furore surrounding your England career every time I pick my squad".
Owen is then believed to have cried a little.
This little version of Lionel Messi in his heydey has completely fallen from grace in football. What was once a smaller version of Maradona killing defences with his speed, is now an old, tanned, horse fucker who seems to not give a shit about anything.
