England cricket stars have proved very popular in the IPL auctions. Following the success of Flintoff and Pieterson and to a lesser degree other current England players a number of "retired" stars are considering joining the fun.
David Lloyd, the former England Coach, who now works for Sky TV when he can be arsed, has long championed Twenty20 cricket. Lloyd who's job it is to collect cricket balls from gardens and to wind up Nasser Hussain is thinking about a come back.
"If Freddie goes for 1.55 million I might get at least a tenner" said Lloyd know to all as Bumbling Idiot.
Also going on the list is gruff Yorkshire man Geoff Boycott who says he will need 20 overs to get off the mark. "Bloody cricket" he said.
Also on the list are Mike Gatting (who is now hitting 34 stone) and No neck Gladstone Small.
Rumours are about that the IPL are looking at an even bigger coup in signing W C Grace who has been dead for many years.
