Middlesborough Football Club striker Mido has urged the Football Association to take action after he was called a rabbit and targetted with animal droppings in his club's thrilling 0-0 draw with Newcastle United last Saturday.
The RSPCA have recieved over one thousand complaints after television viewers spotted black flecks being thrown from the crowd. The groundsman later confirmed that the substances were, in fact, Emu waste from the local cottage shop.
An investigation is ongoing as to why the substances were used in such a manner. The police must be eager for the next time Newcastle play Chelsea. A battle of celery and Emu surely follows...
