Lewis Hamilton has become the youngest world champion marbles player in history after a nail-biting end of season game with Brazilian Felipe Massa.
Massa managed to win the game but lost the overall championship title.
The gathered crowd, numbered in the dozens booed as Hamilton piled on the pressure, the partisan crowd did their best to upset a calm and collected Hamilton.
Hamilton told our roving marbles and conker expert "I knew I would come under immense pressure from Massa, he can roll a mean marble and with the unsportsmanlike following that he has I knew I would have to keep good concentration to overcome the jeering and booing".
Hamilton went on, "I'm really pleased I have at last won the title, I have my Dad to thank along with all the wonderful team members who have supported me through all my mistakes".
Filipe Massa is the only marble player to have a hairstyle named after him, a Brazilian is second best only to a short back and sides.
