US National Football League ruffians have been dragged into court for any and all manner of high crimes and misdemeanors. These American "rude footballers" have assaulted, drugged and raped their way into prisons and penitentiaries and community service.
Sure the UK sportsmen have had their share of spats and scrapes with the law but the latest irregularity reminds us that the two footballs may not be that very different after all.
Burglary has struck the British Football league! Southampton striker, Bradley Wright-Phillips may have struck again and winger, Nathan Dyer may have snatched more than an errant pass. The pair, known to some as the Briton Street Brigands is thought to have filched a cell phone, some farthings and some fags.
Inspector Iam Clueless of Scotland yard declared that UK football was resolved not to allow their sports to become like the US criminal types:" We'll nip this thing in the butt or my name is not Inspector Iam Clueless!"
