Newcastle Messiah, Kevin Keegan is finalising plans to have eight Egyptian camels brought to Newcastle for pre season training.
It is reported that camels, when kept as a herd, display aggression towards outsiders and they protect and support one another.
Traits that Keegan feels is lacking within his team. He originally planned to import Siamese fighting fish for the purpose but the logistics of training with fish have proven to be an issue.
Keegan is hoping that the camels influence will rub off onto his players. He plans to have the camels on the pitch during the players kick-abouts in the hope that his team will step up a gear as they subconsciously mimic the camels actions.
Abdul O'omanta, camel breeder, said: "Mr Kevin Keegan is a very wise man. My camels will teach his team a great deal about footballing tactics."
The camels are due to arrive early July.
