Local woman, Tania Fudglowski, has collapsed and died following a celebratory lap of honor after completing a 26-mile marathon in her local town.
Paramedics rushed to the scene and pronounced her dead. She had collapsed immediately after crossing the finishing line for the second time.
The actual race featured a closely contested finish between Tania and an out-of -Towner, Claire LaBrock.
"It's very sad",said event organized Johnny Crooked, "Tania got very excited and set off on another 26 mile lap before we could tell her she actually came in second place".
"Tania ran away before we could announce the official race results", said Johnny, "stupid girl".
