Don't go Michael!

Newcastle and England star Michael Owen has quit football to take on Frankie Detori at the gallops.

Little Micky has found life tough recently, picking up lots of injuries in the Premiership and has decided to switch sports and let the horses do all the running.

"I fell in love with horses the first time me dad took me to the bookies" explained Micky, "It will be a dream come true for me."

Asked if he would be dismounting in the same manner as Sr Detori, Micky replied, "With my injury record, I don't think so. Mind you I'll probably need a step ladder to get on in the first place."

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
